Common questions
The alarm did not ring.
Open Settings, then Actually Up, and check that Alarms are allowed. In the app, open the alarm and check the time and the days. A phone that is switched off cannot ring, and the app records that morning as Missed.
Why does Stop only pause the alarm?
Stop is the system button on every alarm and the app cannot remove it. Stop pauses the ring for two minutes. Standing up ends it: tap I'm up and pass your check.
The Watch check does not start.
The Watch needs to be paired with your iPhone and worn. Without a Watch, Actually Up uses the phone walk and says so. For the phone walk, allow Motion and Fitness in Settings.
How do I turn an alarm off for good?
Switch it off in the alarm list, or swipe it to delete.
Does it cost anything?
No. It is free, with no subscription, no in-app purchases and no account.
Where is my data?
On your device only. See the privacy page.
Rate Actually Up: Settings in the app has a Rate Actually Up row.
